Well its been a while since I've 'blogged' as you can see, but I have decided to start this up again.
So here goes..............

First cards up are made mostly using Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Collection, and what a collection it is!
I thought I would make some Christian cards for a change. These are so handy to have in as you can give to anyone any time of the year, for any occasion, even to just cheer someone up.
First up is "I can do all things"

HCD1-7130 Flowering Dogwood Branches dies
HCPC-3773 Flowering Dogwood Stamps

Penny Black - Gifts from above stamps
Versafine black ink
VersaMagic- Tea leaves
Memento inks - New sprout, Pear tart, Bamboo leaves, Rose bud, Lilac posies
Imagination Crafts - Sparkle medium

To create the card

Firstly I made the flowers by stamping onto 250gsm white card with memento rose bud ink and cut out using co-ordinating die. Using the same colour I lightly inked part of the petals and using lilac posies inked in the little notch on end of petal. For the centre I used Pear tart ink.
All flowers were then shaped in the 3D Floral Basics Flower Shaping Mold (Amazing Product!)
I used the stamen from the Dogwood die set.
I coated the flowers with the sparkle medium which although doesn't show as well in the picture, it dries lovely and sparkly.
The leaves were stamped with the Tea leaves ink and die cut.
I stamped and die cut the Dogwood frame and coloured with alcohol markers.

Using a 7"x7" card black, I selected 2 papers that would co-ordinate well with the colour of the dogwood flowers
I distressed the edges of the top layer and inked lightly with pear tart ink.
I stamped the message with versafine black ink and then used 3d foam on the back of the layer just to make it pop a little.
Using tiny 3d foam pads I placed the frame around the message and then using a hot glue gun layered on the flowers and leaves

Phew, hope I covered everything!!
